Bike Hire Kielder is delivered by the team behind Bike4Health Community Interest Company (CIC) in North Tyneside, Newcastle. The Bike4Health mission is all about getting #morepeopleonbikes, for our individual and collective benefit.
Established in 2014, Bike4Health has positively impacted over 6000 children in 38 Schools across the Northeast, Newcastle, Gateshead, & Northumberland. We’ve also delivered inspiring community projects with our local authorities, Forestry England, the NHS, local business parks, charities and more.
In 2018, we established the Bike4Health Workshop to help us meet servicing demands in the region and keep on top of our growing fleet and help keep our partner schools on the road. Soon after, we developed our retail relationships with brands including Ridley, Scott and Bergamont Bikes.
In 2023 we are aiming to bring more great cycling activities to communities across our great region, helping more cyclists through our workshop, and delivering more multi-day domestic and international trips.
